Conference topics
The CIVINEDU 2026 conference is structured around educational research and innovation as the fundamental pillars of pedagogical advancement. Educational research focuses on the systematic collection and analysis of data to generate new knowledge, understand educational phenomena, and optimize teaching and learning processes. Meanwhile, educational innovation drives the development and implementation of disruptive ideas, methodologies, resources, technologies, and approaches to solve practical problems and enhance academic outcomes. Within this ecosystem, research provides the necessary empirical foundation, while innovation applies this knowledge and validates new proposals in real-world environments.
Consequently, Educational Research and Innovation serve as the two participation modalities that transversally articulate the subject matter across the four major areas of knowledge:
- (1) Social Sciences and Humanities: Tourism, language and literature, philology, translation, history, communication, philosophy, arts, sociology, politics, economics, law, among others.
- (2) Engineering: Civil, electrical, computer science, mechanical, chemical, biomedical, energy, aerospace, among others.
- (3) Sciences: Mathematics, physics, chemistry, geology, biology, artificial intelligence, environmental sciences, among others.
- (4) Health Sciences: Medicine, psychology, pharmacy, nursing, neuroscience, bioethics, dentistry, radiology, veterinary medicine, among others.
